What a difference a win makes.

Four FX FC worked their socks off to defeat the MK Mavericks, in the process claiming their first league victory since early June condemning the MK Mavericks and the Newport Pumas to relegation. Those 3 precious  points ensured league football for another season at the Stadium: FX.

With the new season due to kick off on Monday 10th November, hopes have never been higher, despite the facts that the bookies have them at 2/12 to go down. Vice captain, Gillon Quinn said "Our aim for this season is to build on the success of last years great escape and aim for a mid table finish, we would also love a good run in the cup which would please the fans and the accountants. Forget what the bookies say, we are going to prove a few people wrong this season"
