Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Treasure Finder Pro ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

Treasure Finder Pro was built from the ground up with a strict "Offline-First & Local-Only" privacy architecture. We believe that your private metal detecting permissions and finds belong exclusively to you.

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It To provide you with the core features of the App, we request access to certain functionalities on your device. However, we do not transmit, collect, or store this data on external servers. All data processing happens entirely on your device.

A. Location Data (GPS) Why we need it: We require access to your location (NSLocationWhenInUseUsageDescription) to track your walking paths while detecting and to automatically tag the exact GPS coordinates of your finds. How it is stored: Your location data and tracking history are saved locally on your device's internal storage. We do not track you remotely, and your location is never sent to our servers or shared with any third party. B. Camera and Photo Library Why we need it: We request access to your camera (NSCameraUsageDescription) and photo library (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription) so you can take photos of your artifacts and attach them to your digital finds gallery. How it is stored: Photos taken or selected within the App are saved locally on your device alongside your find records. They are never uploaded to the cloud or external servers by our App. 2. Data Storage and Security Because Treasure Finder Pro operates as a local-only application:

No Cloud Syncing: We do not host databases containing your personal information, tracking paths, or photos. Your Device, Your Data: All data generated by the App is stored securely in your device's local database. Data Deletion: You have complete control over your data. You can delete individual tracks, clear your history, or delete specific finds directly within the App. If you uninstall the App from your device, all associated data will be permanently deleted. 3. Third-Party Services and Analytics We do not use any third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics SDKs that silently collect your behavioral data. The App does utilize standard map tiles (such as OpenStreetMap and Esri) to display your location visually. When fetching map tiles, your device communicates directly with those mapping providers, which is subject to their respective privacy policies.

4. Children’s Privacy Our App does not intentionally collect any personal information from children under the age of 13, as no personal information is transmitted to us at all.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or Apple App Store requirements. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
